Earth lovers

Retreat

From Thursday evening, August 14 to Sunday, August 17

Valais, Switzerland – in a stunning mountain chalet, one hour from Lausanne

For all genders.

You are loved.
You belong. You are part of it all.
You are erotic.
There is nothing to do.

Just receive. Let yourself be touched. Let yourself be loved.
By the Earth.

She is here, every moment; in every step you take, in all your adventures.
She witnesses each of your breaths, every beat of your heart.

The Earth loves you as you are. Now.
She sees you. She recognizes you.

You have nothing to change.
You are perfect in her eyes.

This is the invitation of the Earth Lovers retreat.

Three days in nature to explore the relationship between our body, our Eros, and the Earth.

Through somatics, sensory, meditative, and artistic practices, we will dive into the experience of an embodied, alive eroticism, deeply connected to nature.

The Earth is the biggest teacher when it comes to presence and eroticism

Because the Earth is erotic, in her simplest and deepest expression.
She reminds us that everything is already here. There is nothing to invent.
Only to listen, deeply. To connect to her infinite wisdom; and to remember.

To remember that we are erotic beings.
That incarnation is an erotic experience.
That our body — this temple — is here to be played with and enjoyed. In its full potential.
With curiosity and delight. Without ranking or judging sensations.

To remember that we are nature; that there is no separation — between body and soul, heart and sex, matter and spirit, the profane and the sacred, humans and nature, human beings and each other.

There is no separation, but rather different expressions of consciousness, embodied in matter.

We are part of the great web of life.

This remembering begins in the body, in embodiment — in sensing.
Feeling is a gift. Feeling is our superpower.

The body is a wonder.
A technology so complex, magical, and perfect.

It is the only portal.
It contains all the information.
It connects us to all dimensions.

There is nowhere else to go.
This is where it happens.

There is a direct link between the ecological crisis and our deep disconnection from our Eros.

In the collective imagination, the Earth is often seen as a generous Mother — and humanity abuses her by taking without consent, without reciprocity.

This infantile and capitalist dynamic of exploitation has replaced the sacred and respectful relationships once honored in ancestral traditions.

Today, the Earth is setting boundaries: resources are depleting, disasters are increasing. We have exceeded her regenerative capacity.

My hypothesis: We are in this “toxic” relationship with the Earth because we are disconnected from our eroticism.

I love this definition of love by Erich Fromm:

To love is to actively care for the vitality of another

To love, in this vision, is to care for our Eros — our vital force.
To love is to create the conditions for the other to cultivate their own Eros — because I see how essential it is for their authenticity, expansion, and power.

Eroticism is essential to nourish loving relationships.
Eros — the energy of desire and life — is present in all forms of love: romantic, sexual, fraternal, familial, spiritual…

Eroticism can be lived in communion with nature:
Feeling the Earth beneath your feet, listening to the wind, letting yourself be touched by the warmth of the sun.

It allows us to experience: “I am nature — she lives in me, and I live in her.”
It invites us to beauty, and teaches us how to listen and respond.

To consider the Earth as a lover is to reimagine our relationship to her through the lens of reciprocity, eroticism, and presence.

To actively care for her vitality, her well-being, her balance.

It invites us to feel our interdependence with all living things — through our bodies.
To nurture our capacity to resonate with the Earth, to be touched by her beauty.

Far from a utilitarian relationship, this is an invitation to relate through pleasure, gratitude, and respect.

If I am connected to my Eros, I am connected to the Earth’s.
I feel the bond of love that connects me to her.
I want to care for her vitality.

I cannot be truly connected to my Eros (and to the living) and destroy the Earth.
I cannot love the Earth — from this place — and endlessly exploit her.

If the Earth were your lover, how would you relate to her?
How would you walk on her soil?
How would you touch her trees, her rivers, her rocks?
How would you listen to the birdsong?
How would you speak to her plants?
How would you breathe in her fragrances?

Concretely… Earth Lovers is:

A 3-day retreat immersed in nature.

A space of care, slowness, and deep reconnection to the body through eco-somatic practices.

  • Organic movement
  • Sensory listening
  • Connection with the elements
  • Meditation, breathwork, and presence games

A professional photographer, Charles Davoine, will accompany us to offer an artistic gaze on the intimacy of gesture and presence — opening a sensitive dialogue with the image of ourselves.
Photography will be an integral part of the process, with dedicated moments to view the images and be touched by their resonance.

Note: These photographs are not intended for marketing or commercial use. They are solely meant to support each participant in meeting their erotic being. After the retreat, we will send you your pictures.

Who is this retreat for?

There are no prerequisites to join this retreat.

That said, your capacity to feel where you are, to listen to your needs and limits, to express your desires and refusals, to consent or not — will be gently engaged throughout the experience.

This is an ideal space to be with your intimacy — the jewel hidden in each moment within you.

Practice times, meals, rest — all moments are fertile for learning how to learn yourself. With the tenderness you carry, moment after moment.

Expressing our free, alive selves implies the free circulation of our vital energies.
Thus, the full range of emotions may color the space. Sensuality and pleasure may fill it. Sexual energy may blossom in your body.

We will simply be here to welcome each person’s erotic being — as it is, beautiful and diverse, moment by moment.

Please Note :

  • There is no sexuality in the practices proposed.
  • Within a safe container, the free expression of eroticism, including energy perceived as sexual, is welcome.
  • This is a mixed-gender group. Most body practices are solo, though you may be invited to interact with people of diverse genders.
  • Nudity may be proposed during some practice moments, always based on individual desire.
  • At all times, you remain sovereign and in active choice over what you give and receive, with whom, and to which invitations you say yes or no.

Charles Davoine

Professional photographer

His art is an invitation to let yourself be seen, without hiding.
Through his images, Charles reveals the raw beauty of bodies in presence, the poetry of a gesture, the truth of an emotion.

From war to grace, his journey is an ode to inner reconciliation.
He documents sacred spaces where we meet ourselves, strip away layers, and celebrate who we are.

He knows how to disappear to better reveal the moment — so that each person can meet themselves, see themselves differently, and love themselves fully.

My 7-Point Manifesto on Eroticism

Eroticism is far more than sexuality; it is a vital, omnipresent energy rooted in life itself. Becoming familiar with your eroticism is learning to connect to your life force — and to master it by letting it circulate harmoniously.

Eroticism teaches that the body is the only path. Every sensation, every shiver is a call to meet your essence. Every pulse is vital information speaking of desires, boundaries, and needs.

Authentic eroticism doesn’t rush. It blossoms in softness and the depth of each moment. Slow down to feel more deeply.

Eroticism blooms in trust — in self, in the other, or in life. To fully engage in the experience, I need to feel safe — regulated in my nervous system, attuned to my capacity.

Eroticism is lived in communion with nature. Feeling the Earth underfoot, listening to the wind, letting yourself be touched by the sun. It’s a doorway to the experience “I am nature — she lives in me and I live in her.” To open to beauty, and learn to converse with it.

Eroticism arises in connection, presence, and mutual listening. It’s a dance of souls, where vulnerability and trust create a tender and sacred space. In this space, eroticism blossoms as an act of love and sharing.

Eroticism is an embodied spiritual path. A gateway to higher states of consciousness — a subtle and sweet ecstasy. Eroticism is a way to transcend the mind-body split.
